Dr. Mete Cetiner is currently working as an associate professor at the State University of New York (SUNY), Empire State College (ESC).

Dr. Cetiner holds a Ph.D. degree in the Management of Information Systems and Technology (School of Information Systems and Technology (SISAT), Claremont Graduate University (CGU), Claremont, CA). Dr. Cetiner also earned Master’s degrees in the fields of Management of Information Systems (M.S. in MIS) (SISAT, CGU) and Information Systems (Department of Information Systems, Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey). In both schools, he held various teaching, research, technical, and administrative positions. He received his B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering (Department of Industrial Engineering, Gazi University (GU), Ankara, Turkey).

As an international scholar, Dr. Cetiner has valued the opportunities of working in multicultural learning environments, and he clearly understands the importance of continuously improving training programs in order to be able to provide the best possible education to our students.
